Hurtex is conceptualised differently than other warming products for pain relief. These seek to affect pain by enabling the active ingredients to penetrate through to the site of pain. In practice, to ensure penetration through the skin, this involves the presence of many excipients, which in many cases are an irritant.

Hurtex does not follow this route. It takes advantage of scientific findings showing that pain in muscles, tendons, joints and other musculoskeletal problems can be more effectively suppressed through their skin receptors. All of Chinese medicine (e.g. acupuncture) is based on this knowledge.

Betuldiol® has significant soothing effects on skin problems such as eczema and psoriasis. Pain products therefore do not irritate the skin, but rather soothe it.

Apply this gel, as needed, to the skin in those areas where you feel pain. It is best to use Hurtex at night and massage the painful areas thoroughly. The sensation of warmth comes immediately and lasts for several hours.

CAUTION: Due to the possibility of the gel coming into contact with your eyes, it is important to rinse your hands after a massage. The gel does not harm the eyes, but contact with the eyes is uncomfortable due to the product’s vanillin and camphor content.
